Our approach towards quality is based on sound lean principles,
focused on the customer requirements. We believe that good
quality is the natural product of a stable process and hence
improving process capability is the key to improving quality
which in turn results in customer satisfaction and strong financial
strength.
Quality should be addressed at the source. We follow the
principle of accept zero defects, produce zero defects and pass
on zero defects.
Our quality philosophy extends to our principle of kaizen
(continuous improvement), which implies continuously reducing
tolerance bands for products and processes to eliminate or
reduce variations.
As per our ISO9001:2015 certification and internal quality
management system, the quality assurance process is
documented in great detail and provides multiple points of
inspection which ensure that all of the quality requirements are
met at every stage of the production.
Every subcontractor and material supplier of Forge LT is audited
and rated to ensure flawless supply-chain and continous
improvements of all the processes, including ones provided by
our suppliers.
Inspection is a crucial step in the forging process. By testing, you can assess the chemical and physical properties of a forged metal part. Forging inspection methods range from simply hitting the metal to test the resonant sound to advanced techniques like radiographic testing and ultrasonic inspection.
